I have been repairing domestic appliance for over 25 years and my knowledge has been recorded on this site .

Modules

Not much can be done with these ,when a new module is purchased it is blank,the options are to get the manufacturer to do the repair for a fixed price ( about £105 as of July 2012 depending on age ).Or do it yourself and purchase a module at cost of about £100 ,and a smart card reader £100 and a program card for your model of machine about £20 total cost about £220 ( if the manufacturer does it they will fit any parts needed with a guarantee).

UNPLUG FROM MAINS.
Remove the rear access panel.

On the left is the module access cover ,it pulls out.


Remove the screws and loosen the wiring,from the clips ,and the module can be moved to the outside of the machine,if a new module is to be fitted then remove the wires one by one and put on and pull off the new board a couple of times to make sure a good connection is established.Then it will have to be programmed unless a good second hand board, off a good machine (it must be the same machine), is to be fitted.

This is a 3 phase module EVOII.The motor has no brushes.Part number c00254298.
