I have been repairing domestic appliance for over 25 years and my knowledge has been recorded on this site .

Test mode

Test mode ( or DEMO ) is a demonstration prog that is used by the shops to display the product and is activated when 2 or more buttons are selected.


To deselect the prog press cancel untill It resets.
The earlier models press start/cancel and on off at the same time for a few seconds.
If it`s a later model press start/cancel ,on off and the wash enhance.

When it has deselected it will read `dOFF`.
There are more types of console below.


This is the hotpoint console and will need to press all 3 buttons as it`s the later type.

This is the Indesit console and it could be the later of earlier type(trial and error).
