How it dries image one
This is the heater box. The fan blows the air into the heater which heats it up.The hot air is then sent into the drum to warm the clothes up.The heat is regulated by the thermister.The steam off the clothes then hits a trickle of water at the back and converts the steam back to water Then it`s pumped out .The red circle at the top (of the picture) is the water hose . This is where the water comes into the drum.

This is another type of heater box.Just the same ,the thermister regulates the temperature and if the temperature gets too high then the cut-out will go open circuit and cuts the power to the heater ( if the cut out is open circuit then it will have to be replaced ).On some models there is a filter located under the heater box and , it gets blocked ,will restrict the air flow and overheat.
